SUMMARY:CCPC's Mobile Food Pantry at Wing Pointe Apartments
DESCRIPTION:In an effort to meet people at their point of need\, right where they live\, and to spread awareness of CCPC’s services\, our pantry creates mobile food pantry events on an as-needed basis. Our mobile food pantry visits local apartment complexes and mobile home parks in Summit and Wasatch counties with deliveries of pantry staples and other grocery items\, dependent on availability. August 16 is scheduled to be at the Wing Pointe Apartments. DESCRIPTION:On Monday\, September 20\, 2021\, from 5:30 – 7:00 pm\, the Caring Community Coalition\, in conjunction with Family Mealtime Month\, will host their Annual Family Dinner in the Park. This year it will be a drive-thru at Southfield Park with a grab-and-go meal at the end to have for dinner that night. Community sponsors will each offer an educational message and an ingredient for a family meal to take home\, prepare\, and eat together as an opportunity to talk about all of the good things that happen when families eat together.
