Social norming is the idea that teens want to behave in positive, healthy ways. However, they perceive that their peers are engaging in negative and unhealthy behaviors. Teens report participating in negative behaviors because they believe it helps them be accepted by their peers. Basically, teens want to do the right things but are impacted by the actions that they perceive their peers to be engaging in. Learn to create positive peer norms for teens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
